Crunchy Nacho-Crusted Crescent Dog

These Nacho-Crusted Crescent Dog are simply irresistible ! This is a quick recipe that you can make it in 30 minutes . They’re nice finger food , easy to eat with no mess, it makes a surprisingly filling dog that’s great to take to a ball game or picnic.
For making these yummy Nacho-crusted crescent dogs, first you need to roll crescent dough flat and cut rectangles. Then put a slice of cheese in each rectangle . Fold the two sides of the rectangle and make a roll and brush it with milk. Make more roll with the same ways and coat each roll in crushed cheddar tortilla chips and bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees F. Serve them hot with ketchup or mayo dip.

INGREDIENTS

 
(8 oz) tube Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent rolls
 
slices American or cheddar cheese
 
Hot dogs
 
Tablespoon milk
 
cups crushed Food Should Taste Good™ cheddar tortilla chips

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls onto a lightly floured work surface. Keep them two rolls together, forming a rectangle. Pinch the perforated edges together.
  • Lay the cheese in the center of the rectangle. Then place a hot dog on top of the cheese. Fold the short edges over the dog ends. Then roll them up. Pinch the dough together under the hot dogs.
  • Lightly brush each rolled dog with the milk, then roll in the crushed tortilla chips.
  • Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  • Serve immediately with ranch, ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc.
